Cook/Chef

Children's Sailing Trust is a Cornwall-based charity that offers sailing and watersports to children and young people, including those with additional needs. It is looking for an experienced Chef/Cook for the Trevassack Lake Cafe, beside its accessible watersports lake on the Lizard Peninsula. The post is available from an immediate start, either part-time or on a freelance/self-employed basis.

The role:

• Prepare fresh, homemade food for cafe visitors, holiday guests and events
• Work as part of a friendly team at the Trevassack Lake Cafe
• Maintain good food safety and allergen management
• Support a charity that makes a difference to children and young people across Cornwall

• Previous professional kitchen experience
• Passion for producing fresh, homemade food
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
• Good knowledge of food safety and allergen management
• Excellent organisational skills
• Able to work calmly under pressure
• Reliable, friendly and a strong team player
