Facility Supervisor

Damen Shiprepair Rotterdam is part of the Damen Shiprepair & Conversion group, which carries out maintenance, repair, conversion and refit work on ships and offshore structures. This full-time role is based at the Schiedam yard and also covers the Botlek site, keeping the yard's buildings, grounds and technical facilities running.

The role:

• Plan, coordinate and organise maintenance and technical work on buildings, installations and grounds
• Inspect buildings and facilities regularly and identify maintenance needs
• Draw up maintenance schedules and make efficient use of people, materials and equipment
• Oversee refurbishment, renovation and re-fit projects on the yard, liaising with internal departments, suppliers and contractors
• Support the resolution of technical faults so operations continue smoothly
• Manage budgets and administration, and promote safe, quality-minded and environmentally aware working
• Lead Facility Employees and Maintenance Technicians, reporting to the Yard Facility Manager

• Intermediate vocational (MBO level 4) working and thinking level, for example in engineering, construction, facility management or a similar technical field
