Yacht Broker

The Moorings and Sunsail plan and deliver yacht charters around the world. They are hiring a Yacht Broker in Florida, reporting to the Brokerage Marine Manager, to win and sell Leopard Brokerage listings, with some occasional sales of used Moorings and Sunsail yachts.

The role:

• Obtain, market and sell Leopard Brokerage listings
• Sell used Moorings and Sunsail yachts and brokerage yachts from the fleets when customers ask
• Handle the whole sales process from first contact to closing, aiming to exceed sales and margin targets
• Build client relationships and convert leads by phone and email
• Use the HubSpot lead database for communication and contracts
• Help develop and carry out the marketing plan with the Brokerage Manager
• Prepare for and attend boat shows, trade shows and open houses
• Arrange yacht showings, client visits and sea trials, with some travel to bases and boat locations

• Sales experience preferred but not essential
• Strong geographical knowledge and a passion for travel
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• High standards of customer service and attention to detail
• Boating knowledge and a love of being on the water
• Able to work a flexible schedule including some nights and weekends
• Good Microsoft Office skills; HubSpot knowledge an advantage
• Additional languages are a bonus
