Marine Electrician

Oyster builds luxury bluewater sailing yachts and is hiring a number of Marine Electricians across its Southampton and Wroxham, Norfolk sites to meet growing demand. The roles suit people with two or three years' experience through to highly experienced marine professionals.

The role:

• Install and test all electrics, electronics and navigation equipment on yachts to a high standard
• Read and interpret electrical drawings
• Install electrical equipment on luxury yachts
• Coordinate your workload with other departments, such as engineering and boat building
• Carry out general maintenance on equipment, including PAT testing

• Marine experience (essential), from two or three years upwards
• A relevant electrical qualification
• Excellent knowledge of AC/DC systems
