Pipefitter

Damen Yachting is a Dutch family-owned company that builds Amels superyachts, Damen SeaXplorer expedition yachts and Damen Yacht Support vessels. It is looking for a Pipefitter to work at its shipyard in Vlissingen, fitting pipework on board its yachts.

The role:

• Carry out fitting work independently, to the required quality and within the time and hours budget on each job card
• Measure, sketch, pipefit and complete finishing work
• Plan your own assigned tasks and keep a realistic work schedule
• Guide one or two colleagues, and instruct less experienced team members where needed
• Check your own results and correct them or solve problems, consulting colleagues or supervisors when necessary
• Discuss progress, working methods, safety, resources and improvements with the Production Group Leader

• Salary of €3,312–€4,302 gross per month for a full-time contract, excluding holiday pay, depending on knowledge and experience

• Knowledge at MBO level 3/4 (mechanical engineering)
• Safe lifting certificate and forklift certificate
