Deckhand

A 55m newly built motor yacht is looking to bring a Deckhand onboard as the vessel transitions out of a yard period and into its first Mediterranean season.The yacht runs with a crew of 11 and offers a well-structured environment with a strong emphasis on professionalism and team building.The program will operate as a single-season yacht, primarily based out of the South of France/Monaco. The start date is set for mid-May in Italy, with some flexibility around the exact date. Role Overview: This position covers the full scope of deck duties, from daily upkeep and detailing through to tender work and supporting guest operations when required. Experience with jet-driven tenders such as Williams or Castoldi will be a strong advantage.For this role, you must be switched on, willing to learn, and comfortable working within a team led by an experienced Chief Officer and Bosun.The Captain is specifically looking for a hard-working and driven individual who is looking to hit the ground running and support the wider team.

A Yachtmaster is required as a minimum, along with a solid base of experience on similar-sized vessels.You must hold a minimum of 1 full season on similar sized yachts to be considered.You must also hold your Schengen visa/European passport in hand.No visible tattoos and non-smokers only, including vaping.Start date: mid-May.
