Divemaster to Instructor Internship

Buceo Aqualia is an SSI dive centre in La Herradura, Spain, and the only SSI instructor training centre in the town. It is offering a summer-season programme for Divemasters who want to become SSI Instructors, with a possible start on 1 June.

The role:

• Work directly with students on recreational courses
• Assist certified instructors during real training sessions
• Guide dives and help supervise groups
• Help with the day-to-day running of the centre
• Build professional judgement, leadership and management skills
• Take the SSI Instructor Training Course (ITC) at the end of the season, with instructor-level specialties included: React Right, Diver Stress & Rescue, Deep Diving, Night Diving, Navigation and Enriched Air Nitrox
