Surf Coach

Surfing Croyde Bay is a surf school at Croyde Bay in North Devon, within a World Surfing Reserve and a Surfing England Centre of Excellence. It is recruiting surf coaches, full and part time, to coach adults and children of all abilities.

The role:

• Deliver surf lessons and coaching sessions to a range of abilities
• Ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants
• Assess conditions and adapt sessions accordingly
• Set up, maintain and pack away equipment
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the Surfing Croyde Bay brand
• Work as part of a close-knit coaching and beach operations team

• Valid Surfing England Level 1 Surf Coach qualification (minimum)
• Current beach lifeguard qualification, or willingness to obtain one
• Up-to-date First Aid certificate
• Experience coaching or working with groups, including children
• Ability to work weekends, school holidays and peak season periods
• Strong ocean awareness and local surf knowledge
