Head Windsurf / Wingfoil Instructor

Ride with the Gods runs a watersports station on a sandy beach at Mikri Vigla on Naxos, Greece, known for flat shallow water and strong Meltemi winds. It is looking for an experienced Head Windsurf Instructor, ideally also able to teach wingfoil, for the 2027 season from 10 May to 10 October.

The role:

• Lead private and small-group windsurfing lessons (maximum three students) for adults and children
• Teach all levels, from beginners to advanced, including harness use, footstraps, waterstarts and jibes
• Teach wingfoil as a second discipline if qualified and experienced
• Support the other instructors and help organise daily teaching activities
• Carry out safety checks and keep lessons safe and professional
• Check equipment daily and do basic maintenance
• Help set up the station at the start of the season and pack equipment and close down at the end

• Solid windsurfing teaching experience, especially in strong side-offshore conditions
• VDWS or equivalent windsurf instructor certification preferred; without certification, proven teaching experience in similar conditions is essential
• Wingfoil teaching experience, ideally in side-offshore conditions using radio communication, is a strong advantage
• Leadership skills, good safety awareness and a professional attitude
• Patience, enthusiasm and good customer service skills
• Fluent English; German, French, Italian or Greek is a plus
• Valid EU passport or legal right to work in the EU (no visa sponsorship)
